When completing the details section, just enter the word “Subscription” in the box where you are asked to “Please pass the following instructions to the charity” THE SCOTTISH TERRIER EMERGENCY CARE SCHEME STECS - SCOTTIE RESCUE RE-HOMING & RESCUING SCOTTIES THROUGHOUT THE UK Founded 1976 We are the Scottish Terrier Breed Rescue Scheme for the UK (inc Southern Ireland), and our aim is to provide new homes for Scotties in need. We are a completely voluntary organisation, with more than one hundred helpers throughout the country. If you would like to ADOPT A SCOTTIE please look at our contacts page and speak to a re-homing officer.
If you know of a Scottie needing help We aim to provide temporary or permanent homes for Scotties in need. If you would like to adopt a Scottie Anyone applying to adopt a dog from us is sent an adoption application form which gives details of family background so that we can match the dog to the home. These applications are returned to the regional co-ordinator, who is also notified whenever there is a dog needing re-homing in his/her region. View the adpotion contract here If you would like to join our Scheme We have a subscribing membership who support us in our aims and receive two newsletters annually, which includes a list of Scottie Collectables, many exclusive to STECS. Membership subscription is £9.00 single, £12 joint. We have a team of area representatives who publicise the scheme in their area, check out potential homes and provide transport for dogs being re-homed. In addition to this, we hold an Annual Garden Party where members, family and friends (2 and 4-legged) are welcome and we get to meet other members as well as some of the Rescues.
