CRUFTS 2022

The experience and buzz of the atmosphere was exciting, and it was great to meet up with all our friends who we have missed over the pandemic. It was particularly lovely to meet Shirley Woods – our STECS rehoming co-ordinator for Northern Ireland.

It’s great to get an insight into what’s going on across the Irish Sea and to swap stories and share learning. Ian Gower manned the STECS merchandising stand, next to the Scottie show ring. While it was busy, Ian said it wasn’t as busy as previous years. I suppose it will take time for people to feel comfortable going back into big venues again and these days, of course, money is tight.

Personally, I thought we had a lot more interest at our stand this year and we signed up some new members.
